Vanguard combines the Alta Pro 283 CT Carbon Tripod with its GH-100 Pistol Grip Ball Head in this lightweight 5.2 lb kit. The tripod has a maximum load capability of 13.2 lb, extends to 70.9", and folds down to only 29.1".
The tripod's Multi-Angle Center Column (MACC) system lets you set the column to various angles from 0° to 180°. The GH-100 pistol-grip ball head allows you to reposition your camera quickly and easily with one hand by squeezing the handle to release the ball and unsqueezing it to lock the ball in place. The head also pans 360° for panorama photos. It has a bubble level under the quick release plate and another on the tripod collar assuring that your horizon will be straight.
